Having recently received the SummitSkills Insight pamphlet, I feel that I must ask a question with regards to the Welsh views on renewable energy.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the purpose of SummitSkills to report and actively advise the government on issues relating to training in our sector?

With regard to Ms Hopkins-Morgan’s report on renewable energy, can I suggest she concentrates her efforts on renewable apprenticeships, since there seems to be little if any movement on this matter in Wales.

SummitSkills should not involve itself in political issues such as renewable energy and instead get on with the job it is paid more than adequately to do training.
