Status Systems has signed a contract with transport experts RF Fielding (Cheshire) Ltd to implement radical improvements to its logistics network, in direct response to increasing sales. With over 30 new fabricators joining the Status ranks in 2003, the extruder has taken the long term approach to overhauling its transport systems. Status will have access to a dedicated fleet of vehicles with extensive back-up from Fielding’s extensive nationwide fleet should any unforeseen problems arise. More efficient routes will be calculated in line with customers’ requirements, and IT links will be established with Fielding’s logistics software.
