Following extensive office refurbishment at its head office in West Sussex, Honeywell Access Systems have put a new emphasis on customer care and training.
A state-of-the-art training centre in Burgess Hill has been designed to ensure their customers get training in a relaxed and professional environment.
Courses are available to cover the complete product range using modular plug and play connectivity or may be tailored to suit the customer’s own requirements They include: software, networking, databases and operating systems.
Honeywell says that installer feedback has been “extremely positive” and, in turn, has led to a reduction in technical support calls.
The integration of Video Controls Ltd (VCL) into Honeywell Video Systems UK Ltd has now been officially completed.
Now incorporated under the name Honeywell Video Systems UK Ltd, this consolidates the product ranges from VCL, Ademco Video, Ultrak and Silent Witness.
“This puts in place the final piece of the jigsaw,”says European Marketing Director of Video Systems division Nick Bowden.
“Our customers now have a single point of contact for our extensive range of products.”
The Honeywell family saw its beginnings when VCL, one of the original pioneers of the dome camera, became part of the Ademco group. This in turn was acquired by Honeywell, to be joined more recently by Ultrak then Silent Witness.
Honeywell Security has also established a reputation for a number of other services to installers including distribution of branded products, training and export. It operates from its 60,000 sq ft HQ at Runcorn, Cheshire, and its southern branch at High Wycombe, Bucks.
Axis Communications has been named by Honeywell as a strategic supplier of network video products for installations globally in a wide range of markets including government, transportation, education and healthcare. The announcement strengthens a partnership that has been in place since 2001.
