Reading Kevin Thomas' column on partnering (BSj 01/04) it is good to see that someone has actually had success at something that should be automatic and normal within our industry.
Usually, for the reasons of private agendas, personal desires and incestuous politics, it has all too often been extremely difficult to obtain, even between (and possibly most evident in) different divisions within the same company and group working on different aspects of the same project.

I shall be interested to see what you put forward, and how you would propose to bang heads so that we might at last start to understand and see where, and why, we should be going along that very sensible and oh, so obvious path.
