Genesis Integrated Security has installed CCTV system for Accrington Stanley Football Club, returning to League status 44 years after dropping out for financial reasons.

In the lead up to its promotion from the Nationwide Conference, the club approached Genesis to look at a pilot scheme for a new CCTV system which would comply with new ground regulations on crowd control and safety.

Once the specification was drawn up after a site visit by ADI-Gardiner CCTV sales executive Scott Davis, Genesis consulted the local police authority, before agreeing a system in principle with Accrington Stanley safety personnel.

Through the architectural consultant at Accrington Stanley, the proposal was also discussed and agreed with Lancashire County Council, who would ultimately be responsible for issuing a licence so that Stanley could play in the football league division in front of a crowd.

The final system, installed during the summer close season, includes the new 26x zoom Dennard domes, Dedicated Micros new DS2 DVR, and Vantage Spartan fixed internal domes.
