International Women’s Day has become a focal point for many businesses to reflect on their contribution to women’s progress in the workplace, and this year the event’s central message is that we all need to do more to accelerate change.
In this second annual special report, produced in partnership with Gleeds and published in the lead up to IWD, we speak to 12 inspiring women in built environment careers from across the world, in the hope their stories can inspire a faster shift in the sector.
Those profiled share their career journeys, the challenges they have faced and the triumphs they have achieved.
They come from a variety of countries, work in a range of businesses and a mix of roles.
