Clivet has developed a range of compact footprint, energy saving chillers with cooling outputs from 157 kW to 510 kW.

Called the Spinchiller WSAT XSC, the design capitalises on the increased heat exchanger’s surface area under part load to ensure a higher energy efficiency ratings and a higher European seasonal energy efficiency ratio. The units employ batteries of small compressors controlled using algorithms to optimise the compressor starting and shutdown to more closely meet the load requirements. The Spinchiller incorporates advanced design “winglet” aerofoil blade tips to reduce noise and save energy consumption. Sound levels can be further reduced by the addition of brushless motors, called the Ecobreeze option.
