Southern Electric Contracting strikes two-year deal with Speedy

Southern Electric Contracting has signed a sole supplier agreement, worth £6m over two years, with site equipment specialist Speedy.

Speedy will provide a range of tools and equipment including generators, site accommodation and powered access.

Richard Moores, group purchasing manager at Southern Electric Contracting said: “We have been working with Speedy for over five years and have been impressed with its national coverage, commitment to health and safety, product range and availability.

“This agreement will provide our sites with consistent high standards in equipment supply.”

“This strategic partnering agreement underlines our plans to further expand beyond our traditional construction customer base.”

Southern Electric Contracting is part of the Scottish and Southern Energy Group. The company operates from 65 local offices nationwide and has a turnover of over £300 million.
