Son of a gun: This mixed-use development at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth will provide 120 homes for key workers.

The 483-home scheme, designed by Peter Crossley of architect Broadway Malyan, was approved by Portsmouth council on 18 February. It also includes shops and a nursery.

Developer Berkeley Group is due to start work in the late summer and take about three years to complete.
