The first comprehensive guidance on improving the design and construction of composite concrete slabs on steel decking has been compiled by the Association of Concrete Industrial Flooring Contractors (ACIFC) in partnership with the Concrete Society.
With a focus on safety, it provides clients, designers and contractors with details on constructing composite slabs and reducing the risk of decking bending and collapsing during concreting.
