The 2007 Autodesk packages Revit Building 9, Architectural Desktop 2007, Building Systems 2007 and Autodesk VIZ 2007 can create, manage and share design information. The updated products include new features to make the sharing of design information more effective.

Easy Electrics is the latest estimating program from Easy Price Pro.
It operates using the Excel spreadsheet program. Once the user has input the make and range of fittings per room of a project, the program will generate a detailed quotation, materials order sheet and summary. Management charts give a clear graphic of the profit plus materials, labour and overheads costs.

The IGE+XAO Group has launched a computer aided drawing package for creating block plans, standardised single-line schematics and installation plans.
SEE Building LT is a group entry level package aimed at electrical contractors. It allows users to rework architect's plans to insert cables and electrical equipment from a standard symbols library. A parts list is created in real time. The software is upgradeable according to the users needs.
