Cubic Corporation and GE Security have introduced the world's first automatic public transport ticket vending machine with integrated early warning explosives detection capability.

It incorporates GE's fingertip trace detection analyser, the Itemiser FX, into Cubic's automatic fare collection system.

Cubic and GE are working with that country's Department of Homeland Security and transit agencies to expand the use of technology-based security solutions.
