The SummitSkills training academy returns, providing technical information on key industry issues, including getting to grips with the new Part L and new sustainable technology opportunities.

This year’s event will run alongside five other exhibitions: the AMPS Power Expo, Sustainable Energy and Energy Efficiency Expo, Total Workplace Management and Context, reflecting the importance of the m&e sector to all stakeholders.

Visit Autodesk Building Systems (ABS), at the M&E Event for a demonstration of the AutoCAD-based building design and construction documentation software application for building services engineers.

Working with tools especially designed for m&e engineering users can increase efficiency by reducing tedious drafting tasks and minimising errors and clashes. The automated production of construction documents means a faster move from design to documentation and design data can be re-used when linking into industry-leading analysis, cost estimation and fabrication software applications.

Baxi Commercial will be displaying its range of high efficiency, environmentally friendly wall hung (WH series) and floor standing (FS series) stainless steel condensing boilers at the M&E Event.

Cablofil UK will be exhibiting its extensive range of Cablofil steel wire tray and related accessories as well as their innovative EZ-Path fire stop barrier.

There will also be a demonstration of their load-bearing tray in commercial and industrial electrical applications.

Cablofil has played an integral part in the construction of T5, supplying over 450 kilometres of tray throughout the new terminal at Heathrow Airport.

Dehn stand C113

Dehn will be using the event to introduce new products in its lighting and surge protection system ranges. Modular versions of several products in the Red/Line series of surge protection devices will be on show, including the Dehnventil combined lighting current and Type 1, the Dehngaurd Type 2 surge arrester and the Dehnrail Type 3 arresters. Dehn will also be emphasising the challenges presented by new British Standard guidelines for designers and installers of lighting and surge-protection systems.

Emerson Network Power is exhibiting its new adaptive architecture integrated solution for high heat density continuous process data centres, as well as its specialist uninterruptible power supply systems and precision cooling for fixed and mobile telecommunications, Voice over Internet Protocol applications and other sensitive technological environments.

Environmental Seals, under the brand name of Envirograf, are a leading force in the passive fire prevention and containment market. They will be exhibiting a range of products including fire protection for doors and glazing, barriers and cavity systems, electrical penetrations, pipes and services, timber, ventilation grilles, steel protection, office protection systems and fire retardants.

A DVD will be available which shows a range of Envirograf products being put through their paces by Avon Fire & Rescue Services.

The solution tightly integrates with their access control system, utilising biometric and smart card reading technology, providing a networked approach to multi-site security. Powertecnique will be launching its range of diesel generator sets (20-500 kVA) at the event. The sets have been designed entirely with the rental market in mind and include a variety of standard features and options both necessary and useful for the rental sector by ensuring lower maintenance and greater durability.

The stand will feature a simulated small office that is supported by a Saxon UPS system. Power will be cut to the office for demonstration of how a Powertecnique UPS and software will support vital equipment in the event of a power outage.

Visit Voltimum’s stand to see a presentation by The Electric Heating and Ventilating Association (TEHVA), giving details of how the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) scheme gives accredited test performance results for heating and ventilation products.
