Shepley's coloured and woodgrain composite doors feature a protective skin, claimed to offer greater thermal and UV stability than either ABS or PVC. Doors provide a heat distortion temperature of around 90°C, and allow Shepley to offer the option of mahogany, oak, rosewood and black finishes with confidence, as well as lighter colours.
Another significant development is the weather resistant laminated veneer lumber, making it one of the most impenetrable doors on the market. This incredibly solid core has been tested and fully certified by the British Board of Agrement, and is extremely secure, warp-free, weather and fire resistant.
All doors are supplied unglazed with a cassette system providing the homeowner with a choice of 28mm glass panels. Shepley offers a full 10-year guarantee to retailers and the composite door is available on a standard three-week turnaround.
