Diageo was formed in 1997 through the merger of GrandMet and Guinness. Since then, the company has developed a market-leading strategy behind the branding of premium alcoholic beverages including Guinness, Smirnoff and Baileys.
The company’s employees work in a new purpose-built headquarters at the First Central Office Park in north London. The security concept included provision for a state-of-the-art security solution encompassing glass access turnstiles, robust car park barriers and extensive CCTV coverage – essentials for a building that enjoys a prime location in one of the Capital’s most prestigious business parks.
To satisfy the client’s needs, Group 4 Technology has introduced the latest proximity and magstripe technology. The Multimax access control software and integrated digital video storage networks accommodate 1,500 separate card holders. It is a scaleable enterprise system, capable of coping with unlimited cardholders.
Multimax uses the Microsoft SQL format, enabling the simple import and export of data to other software packages. The system also employs unambiguous command icons.
