SE Controls has provided occupants of Kildare County Council’s RIBA Award-winning new tilted office at Aras Chill Dara with total control over their indoor environment from the comfort of their personal computers.
With sustainability high on the agenda for the £40 million project as a whole, the company’s Adaptive Natural Ventilation system was an obvious choice. The system is based around a series of actuators linked to the company’s OSO controllers, which communicate with the building management system (BMS) using the Lonworks interface. In total, 380 actuators and 200 OSO controllers were fitted.
