Faber Maunsell has appointed Professor Ganapathy Ramachandran technical director of fire and risk engineering. He will provide guidance for fire consultancy projects and training.
Gleeds has promoted Peter Gair from its Birmingham office and Steve Smith from its Gloucester office to partners. Geoff Daniel, Simon Sheldon and John Appleby have been promoted to directors of Gleeds technology.
