Institution teams up with 14 other professional institutions to head to the Far East
The RICS and 14 other professional institutions this week launched PI-UK China - Professional Institutions UK-China. The new body will enable the institution to work more closely to promote their work and professionalism in China.
RICS International Development manager Alastair Barr says the pact, which will lead to the institutions co-operating in China, should help British professional institutions to break into China.
"Government officials in China have implied they would like to deal with one umbrella group. PI-UK allows us to present a united front and look for practical ways to raise the overall profile of British professional expertise."
