The ECA is a sponsor of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' Building Engineering Services Business Group conference on 31 May.

To be held at the RICS headquarters in London, the conference is ‘All about risk'. It will deal with the current practices of passing risk down the supply chain to rest with the subcontractor and sub-subcontractors. Speakers will represent all members of the supply chain and also encompass the academic view.

Questions being addressed will include: ‘Will the right methods of procurement, implemented at the right time, help us manage risk better?' and ‘Is risk being appropriately passed down the supply chain when procuring building engineering services?'
