5:00PM Broyd to be replaced by Bill Healy
The chief executive of construction research body CIRIA Tim Broyd is to step down from the post at the end of 2006 to pursue other interests after four years in the role. CIRIA has announced he will be replaced by Bill Healy from January 2007.
A statement said: "Bill has a background of senior appointments with a range of different types of responsibility in areas relevant to CIRIA and the built environment. He has a unique understanding of the company’s work and the opportunities and challenges ahead having served as a director of CIRIA for the last three years.
"The board is delighted to have secured someone of Bill Healy’s calibre to lead CIRIA through the next period of its development, and looks forward to working with him to pursue CIRIA’s mission of developing and disseminating pragmatic guidance to CIRIA’s members and the industry at large."
