We are sat above more indigenous coal that we can use in 200 years and with carbon capture technology in the UK being at the forefront of the developed world, which will in turn allow greater amounts of indigenous gas and oil to be extracted from the North sea fields, I fail to see the logic in not supporting the UK economy and employment needs by investing in "Clean Coal Technology" and steering us away from the HIGH RISKS involved in Neuclear and the long term problems they have a history of ???? UK Government supporting German Engineering, which have been bought out by Asian Multi-nationals ( proven track record (NOT) )
