The decline is cost-driven and not due to any greater awareness or healthy lifestyle ambition. Drugs and their supply and residual effects could be a less obvious but far greater problem for the industry. Will the monitoring be carried out by in-house specialists or external consultants? What competencies will the testers have? Will they be CSCS accredited? What is the result of the Bovis cost/benefit analysis of the exercise? Why give advance notification at all?
