There is a massive shortage of trained and qualified QS's in the UK (and the rest of the world too). This is not good for us and not good for the country. The long term solution is to train more but this does not solve this year's problem and this year's problem is that we think there are about 6,500 vacancies. After much lobbying our Government has finally put QS's on the list of skill shortages. This will allow foreign QS's to be employed more easily.
