All I can say is don't forget a car park for contractors and decent welfare facilities unlike Wembley stadium where the food was like prison food. The worst I have experienced in over 35 years in the electrical contracting industry. Many electricians will not want to travel to Stratford. It would be nice to see good rates of pay above 14.00 ph which self employed electricians have had to swallow for 10 years and yes there will be strikes unless a rate for all is implemented. I say 20.00ph for all tradesman is not too much too ask to fall in line with European rates of pay and let's see overtime rates paid not working for flat time as Wembley was. Make no mistake strikes will be inevitable unless rates go up in the M&E secter as the JUBILEE LINE proved.
