My colleagues and I were horrified to find our local authority has been moved 40 miles to the south ("Little Britain", 30 January, page 24). For the record, Bassetlaw is the most northerly local authority in Nottinghamshire, north of the Meden Valley and quite close to the South Yorkshire pathfinder.
