Germany's Fensterbau/Frontale exhibition for window and facades, held jointly with Holz-Handwerk 2006 (for woodworking) has set a new record with 100,762 trade visitors (2004: 92,294) and a distinctly larger international share. 1,184 exhibitors from 30 countries were represented in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 22-25 March 2006.

Trade visitors were up nine per cent, while the total display space was around 6% larger than two years ago. The reversal of the downward trend in the key German market appears to be within reach now, claim the organisers.

Windowmaker Software was one of several UK exhibitors, choosing to launch its Windowmaker 5.5 and Windowmaker ERP packages. Existing customers from many European countries, including the UK, resulted in a number of quality enquiries, according to Goronwy Jones, Managing Director.

Hardware with the Tricoat corrosion-inhibiting surface finish, rail-systems for sliding doors, and intelligent house systems were among the products shown by Maco.
