One of Scotland's leading security companies has won a prestigious award for the second year running.

Glasgow-based Connelly Security Systems took the award for the best specialist supplier in security systems to Whitbread Plc. The company's contract with Whitbread means it supplies electronic security to Brewers Fayre, Costa Coffee, TGI Friday, Premier Travel Inn and Beefeater Restaurants throughout Scotland.

The family-owned business has been very active in the past two years, moving into its state-of-the-art HQ in Glasgow and acquiring Edinburgh-based Scotia Alarms, which added 1000 customers to its already impressive client list.

CSS also built a new Alarm Receiving Centre, one of only two NSI-approved centres in Scotland, which makes the operation a 365 days a year, 24 hours a day business.
