Alex Conran – presenter of BBC 3’S hit series ‘The Real Hustle’ – will host a unique fundraising event at the Magic Circle headquarters in London on 23 March in aid of the magnificent charity Crimestoppers.

In the programme, Alex and the team show real-life situations, among them elaborate ‘sting’ operations targeting businesses and people on the street. These situations show the public at large the lengths conmen will go to in order to steal from them.

Crimestoppers is the only charity dedicated to solving crimes and taking criminals off the streets. Around 17 people are arrested and charged every day as a result of information forwarded to Crimestoppers. That information also results in at least one individual being charged with murder every week. Since Crimestoppers began in 1988, it has taken over 850,000 calls. There have been over 75,000 arrests and over £130 million of drugs seized.
