Engineering firm Ramboll Whitbybird has dropped the names of its founders from its title and will now be known as Ramboll UK.
The firm said the move marked its "successful integration with the Ramboll Group", the Danish firm which Whitbybird merged with in 2007.
This is the latest name change in Whitbybird's 26-year history. The firm began life as Whitby & Bird, named after founding partners Mark Whitby and Bryn Bird.
Chief executive Mike Crane and Chair Mike Whitby retain their positions within the company.
Whitby said that the company looked forward to its "exciting future" as Ramboll and that the rebrand was another indication of their status as a "serious contender" in the engineering sector.
