QS News is expanding and changing its frequency following a recent survey of our readers.
The magazine will now be fortnightly - so the next edition will be out on 21 April.
The reader's survey, carried out in February, found that a majority of you would prefer a fortnightly format. Over 80% of the 500 readers quizzed regarded the magazine as the best dedicated title for the profession, the survey also found.
The magazine's new format will be bigger and better. New sections will be launched offering more cost and economic data as well as regular careers pages and a section specifically for project management.
QS News' website will also be significantly improved. The site will now offer rolling daily news as well as a host of other exclusive online material - new blogs, web slide shows allowing virtual walks around major projects (the first one will show the smooth-running new Arsenal stadium), careers tips and new podcasts. The first podcast, which focuses on vocal skills in business, is available by clicking here. The upgraded site will allow QSs and project managers to participate in the hot issues of the day affecting the profession.
"We aim to offer readers the best of both worlds - a great magazine with all the news, opinions and information readers want, plus a much improved offering on our website," said QS News editor Phil Clark.
