QS News is the most widely and regularly read magazine amongst the profession, according to a survey by independent market research firmTNS Media.

The research was commissioned by QS News publisher CMP Information and carried out between May and September.

The 1,618 interviewees, which included architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, housebuilders and clients, were asked about their views on 13 industry magazines and the way they specify material.

The survey found that the average issue readership was 64%, 11% above our nearest rival, and 58% were regular readers of the magazine, outstripping the second place title by 9%. The title also was considered the magazine of most use and the most interesting by 16% of QSs questioned, behind QS News’ sister title Building.
