A QS and PM are needed for a project to build two £1.5m houses at Mount Grace Drive in Poole.

Planning permission for the scheme is currently being sought. The properties, designed by Terence O’Rourke, aim to maximise light from the south with balconies and an internal atrium. On the east façade high-level strip windows provide natural light. The top floor is set back to limit overshadowing and break up the building mass. The project involves the remodelling of an existing house on site and aims to maintain the wooded character of the site, retaining existing trees and shape of the land. “It has been challenging to ensure that both houses reflect the same design ethos and that they work with the site’s topography,” said Lisa Richardson, architectural assistant at Terence O’Rourke.
