QinetiQ scooped the overall winner's prize at this YEAR'S IFSEC Security Industry Awards, organised by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) and CMP Information – publisher of Security Management Today and its sister title Security Installer.

QinetiQ's electronic video stabilisation system 'Stable Eyes' uses the very latest image processing technology to improve the operational performance of high zoom surveillance cameras by purposefully removing camera 'shake'. This greatly improves system performance in adverse weather conditions.

The remaining IFSEC Security Industry Award winners for 2004 are listed in this month's BSIA 'Security Viewpoint' section (p15).
