Pirelli Cables & Systems has been rebranded Prysmian Cables & Systems.
The rebranding follows a change of ownership, when Goldman Sachs Capital Partners bought out Pirelli’s cable divisions for 1.3 billion Euros (EMC, Jul/Aug, p7).
The new name does not mean changes to operations, though. The company is quick to reassure customers that the new brand and visual identity is backed up by the same capability, know-how and products.
The company will continue to produce electrical cables – from extremely high to very low voltage, for land, submarine and overhead applications – along with a vast range of accessories. Brands include the FP range of fire resistant cables.
