Promac Group has launched a new division to serve Ireland. Called Promac Machinery, the new operation has been staffed with trained personnel from the UK, with a view to recruiting locally as the business expands. Based in Drogheda, the new venture is well positioned to offer excellent coverage throughout Ireland. The premises are attached to a business called Compressed Air Centre Ltd, a compressed air line fittings business that has obvious symbiosis with Promac air tools and machinery products.

Commenting on the launch, Promac Chairman, David Stockton-Chalk said ‘We see this expansion into Ireland as a natural progression for our business. We have many valuable customers in Ireland and the establishment of Promac Machinery clearly demonstrates our commitment to serving their needs. It also reflects our long term goal to expand the Promac Group into other markets and territories’.

Initially, the core business will be machinery spares and consumables. In due course, the company will offer the complete portfolio of Promac window, glass and industrial machinery throughout Ireland.
