Arup CampusThe Arup Campus is a new office development designed by Arup Associates. The Campus is to be the new home for Arup Group's Coventry and Birmingham offices. The brief was for a stimulating, energy efficient, and comfortable workplace for 350 staff. Arup Associates design ambitions sought to support the notion of sustainable development by optimising social, economic and environmental considerations. Building Crafts College
Fulcrum Consulting was approached to work on a building crafts college in Stratford, East London, for the ancient City Guild, The Company of Carpenters. Fulcrum worked closely with the architect and structural engineer to influence building form, envelope design and thermal and acoustic insulation criteria. Fountain House
Built in 1964, Fountain House is the oldest podium tower block in the City of London. The 14-storey office block refurbishment posed numerous logistical constraints. EMCOR Drake & Scull had to work while creating minimum disruption, but also managed to put the principles of Best Practice into action Barbican Concert Hall
Max Fordham LLP played an important role in the visually stunning and technically complex renovation of the Barbican Hall. Its work included replacing house lighting, production lighting, air handling units, and stage riser systems, as well as providing improved acoustics. To minimise closure, the project had to be completed in four months.
