Former British Open champion Nick Price has designed a golf course as part of a new resort planned for Ireland.

White Young Green is the QS and M&E engineer on the £33m scheme. The firm's Belfast office is handling the project, which is in County Tyrone. The course will be the first to straddle the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland.

The project is due to tee off on site in mid 2006 and be completed by spring 2008. The client is US firm Termon Developments and the architect is Robin Patterson Partnership, Belfast. Favour Hotel & Golf Resort will include a 5-star, 128-bed hotel and health spa.
