Socomec Sicon UPS has added a model with a graphic touchscreen to its Delphys MX range of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

The Delphys MX colour graphic touchscreen provides a user-friendly interface giving a global overview of the system and enabling safe operation of the UPS. Direct access to the UPS' main functions can be gained through the mimic menu given on the screen.

MGE UPS Systems has launched a subscription-based remote monitoring service to provide 24/7 monitoring of UPS and electrical equipment.

The Teleservice Remote Monitoring service works by linking a combination of up to eight UPS systems and electrical appliances via a single modem line to the firm's Teleservice centre. In the event of a problem, the parameters are analysed and the appropriate alert sent as previously agreed.
