Shepherd Engineering Services (SES) has completed phase one of the Natural History Museum's new £17 million Darwin Centre in London.
The contract, worth £4.7 million, is to commission and install the mechanical and electrical services in the seven-storey development.
The demands on SES were quite diverse as the development not only compromises general offices, laboratories, public viewing galleries, and walkways, but also included dedicated large cold storage areas.
Phase one of the Darwin Centre is due to open in September 2002.
