The use of a local marshalling system for power and data at a new medical centre in Hall Green, Birmingham has removed the need for the installation of a complete perimeter cable management system.
Claddagh Electrical installed a Hager Tehalit C60 system to suit the aesthetic design of the centre: windows are set at desk height, so a complete perimeter trunking system could not be used. Instead, the trunking was supplied cut to length with Ashley New Look accessories fitted within them, to fit above 1·85 m-long desks.
This solution reduced on-site wastage and installation time. It has also provided the client with future system flexibility, as more accessories or data outlets can be added within local sections at later dates.
Ashley System3Grid switches were used for the fluorescent lights to complete the suite.
