Inviron has completed a £9 million m&e installation at the Inland Revenue and Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) in Newcastle.
The contract included air conditioning and ventilation, mains power and security in the four, three-storey office blocks that form the Benton Park View scheme. It also supplied, installed, tested and commissioned the fully automated lighting control system.
Prefabricated packaged boiler rooms, chillers and air handling units were lifted directly onto the roofs in the fast track scheme. Amec Developments, Interserve Building and Inviron’s North East building systems business undertook the project.
Inviron had previously completed a similar DWP development at Tyne View Park around one mile away.
