OUT OF MINE: Property consultant NAI Fuller Peiser has published its masterplan for this 295 ha lakeside community on the site of a former colliery in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The project, built on behalf of UK Coal Mining, will have about 3500 homes. It is not yet known what proportion will be affordable. The community will also have three centres for shops, a hotel, pubs and public transport interchanges.
A public consultation on the masterplan is being done with Rotherham council until 15 August.
