Ridge takes on two

Ridge has added two graduate level building surveyors, Bethan Sims and Matthew Smith (above), to its Bristol office. The duo will work on design and management regulations, assessing and designing buildings to meet the needs of the disabled.

Pettifer project manager

Warwickshire-based developer Pettifer Estates has appointed Nick Norbury as project manager. Norbury, 36, who was previously at Faithful & Gould, will be responsible for retail projects and a scheme at Abbey Park, Stoneleigh.

Aviation planner for TPS

Garry Silsbury has joined Carillion project management arm TPS as associate director for aviation planning. He joins from airport client BAA, where he worked on major projects at Heathrow airport.

Bucknall Austin drive

Bucknall Austin continues its recruitment drive by adding four new staff in various disciplines. Joining the British Nuclear Group are: Stephen Armstrong, procurement officer; Shaun Rule, senior consultant; Philip Walker, construction consultant and Gavin Yule, planning engineer.
