On the move

David Edwards has been appointed regional director for Southern England at English Partnerships. Edwards is currently head of regeneration, land and property at DCLG and takes up his new role in July.

Housing association Mercian Housing has appointed Sharon Gilligan as housing and community services director. Gilligan will be in charge of Mercian’s housing management, maintenance and community investment agenda.

Sustainability consultant Beyond Green has appointed James Alexander as managing director. Alexander was formerly European managing director of KUD International, the US-based regeneration company.

Andy Wibling has joined Bellway as managing director of its South-east division. Before joining Bellway he ran his own construction and development business and had spent 23 years with the Lovell Group.
