  • Lilin has promoted Kelly Ford to business development executive and appointed Tim Stone as its South Area internal account support. Ford will be responsible for customer account management and new sales development.
  • Projectdesign has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Lars Morten Andreassen as director of sales and marketing. He will lead the company's international sales and marketing efforts.
  • Videcon PLC has appointed two new sales executives, Helen Cornhill and Rowan Williams. Cornhill previously worked for Sanyo CCTV and will manage southern accounts, while Williams will work in the area from Scottish borders to the Midlands.
  • Amplicon has appointed Gareth Rees as sales engineer in its newly-formed Security Automation Division. He has worked for three years with LJD Group.
  • Videotec has appointed Bob Groom as its UK and Ireland sales manager. He joins Videotec from Sanyo, where he was involved in the sales and marketing of CCTV products.
  • Canadian manufacturer Verex Technology has appointed Peter Crussell to develop sales of its integrated security managements system Monitor xL in the UK and Europe.
  • Former Sensor Access export sales manager Guy Hudson has joined proximity and smart card distributor The Smart Card Store. He will be responsible for expanding worldwide card sales in his new role. Part of his role will be to source old and rare card formats for clients having difficulty finding what they need.
  • Lightspeed Systems Europe has appointed Roland Malcolm as sales director. He will be responsible for developing new partnerships and raising awareness within Europe of the company's Total Traffic Control solution.
  • HID Global has appointed David Sullivan as the president of Fargo Electronics. He will be responsible for setting the strategy and development of business objectives for the company.
  • OCS Resolution has appointed Andy Williams as regional Director for the London area. Williams joins OCS from Lynx, where he was UK operations director. He was also previously a police officer.
  • Video Domain Technologies has appointed Chris Connor as national sales manager. Connor will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing distributors and devising channel-marketing strategies.
  • Steve Coetzer has been appointed as the national accounts director at Stanley Security Solutions. He moves into his new role having held the position of time and attendance product manager for the past 18 months, and will have responsibilities for all product ranges across Stanley’s security offer.
