• Dedicated Micros has appointed Andrew Finn as its new managing director with responsibility for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Finn has been with DM since 1998, and is also Group Finance Director at AD Group.

• Les Beverley has joined shopping centre specialist systems integrator G1 Ltd as technical sales manager. Beverley will be involved in strengthening regional sales of CCTV installations, project management and client support.

• David Ripley, managing director of Cooper Security Limited, has resigned from his position in order to take up a new role outside of Cooper. Sales and marketing director Andrew Knights has been appointed acting managing director.

• Network Video Technologies has appointed Stuart Harris as its systems sales manager. Harris joins NVT from Sanyo, where he was major account manager.

• Norbain parent company Upperpoint Holdings has appointed Ian Stuart as its chairman. He was previously chief executive of Heywood Williams Plc, a £600m company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of building products.

• Specialist hazardous area CCTV manufacturer COEX has appointed Fiona Berry as sales and marketing assistant at its UK head office in Lincolnshire. She will support an international sales team with worldwide projects from tender through to completion.
