Planning approval has been granted to redevelop a new office block in the London bank conservation area.
The existing building is a 1970s mixed use development, clad in Portland stone.
The new building will provide 5700 m2 of office space across eight levels.
In keeping with the surrounding buildings, it will be clad in Portland stone and “appear to be chiselled from a single block of stone”. The client is Standard Life Investments and the teams include EC Harris, QSs, and Buro Four, project managers.
