Off the ground: The Peabody Trust is to invest £3m in building 31 flats for shared ownership on a derelict site on the Pembury Estate in east London. The housing association has gained planning permission for the single block, which will be on a derelict site in Hackney. The scheme has been designed by architect Fraser Brown MacKenna and is due to be completed in 2005.
