OCS Resolution Security surpassed the security industry Authority (SIA) licence application target for both September and October 2005, and thus responded “quickly and effectively” to the changes in legislation realised by the introduction of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.

As one of only 15 companies in England and Wales to have reached the 55% target for security guard licence applications submitted by the end of October, OCS Resolution has duly ensured that all of its security officers have obtained – or are in the process of obtaining – their SIA licence, a requirement of which hinges on passing both proficiency tests and police checks.

OCS Resolution provides end users with a complete range of services, from security systems design and installation through to security guarding, VIP protection and counter-surveillance.

The OCS Group – comprising six divisions including security, transport, cleaning and catering – currently turns over in excess of £550 million per annum.
