Trevor Koch, who many in the industry will know through m&e contractor the RTT Group, sadly died in March aged 63 after a long battle against cancer, writes his son, Joe Koch.

He joined Bowaters in Kemsley Mill as an electrical apprentice in 1965. In 1970 he formed an electrical contracting business with his brother Robert Koch and brother-in-law Terry Head, which later became known as RTT.

Trevor continued running the company after Terry retired in 2001, until RTT was forced into receivership in 2006. Trevor salvaged the firm, which became TSSR Group Holdings.

Trevor loved the industry and was well known for his honesty and integrity. He will be very much missed.
